Why marry in Belgravia?
Belgravia is the district of white stucco terraces and garden squares, among them Belgrave Square and Eaton Square, that lies between Hyde Park Corner, Sloane Square and Victoria, south of Buckingham Palace's gardens. It is residential and quiet by London standards, with embassies and private houses around its squares.
The Goring, the Belgravia venue, is a family-owned hotel a few minutes from Victoria station, licensed for weddings in its private rooms. Its Garden Room seats 44 for dinner and takes 100 for a reception, which suits an intimate wedding more than a large one.
Eaton Square and the streets around it give quiet backdrops for photographs, and Victoria has mainline trains to Gatwick.
