Why marry in Knightsbridge?
Knightsbridge runs along the southern edge of Hyde Park, from Hyde Park Corner towards South Kensington, and is known for its hotels and for the shops of Brompton Road and Sloane Street, among them Harrods. For a wedding, its advantage is the park: a ballroom within a few steps of one of London's largest green spaces.
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, the Knightsbridge venue, has its entrance on Knightsbridge and its back on the park. It is licensed for weddings of up to 200, and its ballroom takes up to 400 guests.
Knightsbridge station on the Piccadilly line runs direct to Heathrow, and Hyde Park and the Serpentine are the natural place for portraits.
