A palace apart from the medina

Selman Marrakech is a palace hotel at Km 5 on the Route d’Amizmiz, at the foot of the Atlas Mountains and set apart from the Medina. Jacques Garcia designed it in Arab-Moorish style, and local craftsmen built it on six hectares of gardens with fountains and rose gardens. The property belongs to the Bennani Smires family.

The horses

Its Arabian horse stables sit at the centre of the hotel, and a dinner or reception can be set with the horses nearby, in and around the stables.

Celebrations

Celebrations can use the gardens, the 80-metre pool, the restaurant terraces and the spaces around the stables. The whole property can be privatised for events of up to 1,000 guests. Catering is handled in-house, and private caterers are also permitted, with kosher catering among the dining options.
