Vows in the park
Disneyland Paris holds symbolic weddings, engagement celebrations and vow renewals in its Disney Parks and Disney Hotels. Ceremonies take place in venues across the parks and hotels, and receptions can be held in any Disney restaurant or private reception space, subject to availability. Celebrations range from an intimate gathering to a regal gala in Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Two collections
The Once Upon a Time Collection is held in the Disney Hotels, with a wedding coordinator planning each detail from flowers and cake to champagne. The Romance Collection takes place in the Disney Parks, with after-hours fun for the wedding party. Parks and hotel venues are used before or after opening hours, daytime ceremonies and receptions are available at Disney Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney Hotel New York, The Art of Marvel, and small receptions can be held during park hours by privatising a restaurant.
Details
Flowers, live music and appearances by Disney Characters can be added, and photographers and video makers can be included. A hand-made carriage embellished with gold leaf and Swarovski crystals, the Disney Fairy Tale Carriage, is available for private celebrations. Catering ranges from a brunch to a cocktail reception or a seated dinner in a Disney restaurant or private reception space.
Planning
More than 500 guests can be invited, depending on the ceremony and venue. Weddings usually start at €25,000 for around 20 guests. The ceremony is symbolic and has no legal standing under French law, so couples who wish to be legally married complete the legal formalities separately.
