About The Westin Valencia

The Westin Valencia is a Modernista landmark of 1917 in central Valencia, built around a 1,900 square metre garden courtyard, with a Swarovski-lit ballroom and 135 rooms and suites.

The Westin Valencia occupies a Modernista building of 1917 in the centre of the city. It was built as the Industria Lanera Valenciana, a wool factory, and its Secessionist facade of curved pediments and pale stone hides a courtyard garden of nearly 2,000 square metres, planted with palms, olive and box hedging around a stone fountain. The building became a hotel in 2006 and keeps 135 rooms and suites, all with the Westin Heavenly Bed. Valencia Airport is about 15 minutes away.

Ceremonies are held in the garden courtyard or in a daylit salon, both licensed for civil marriage. Receptions fill the ballroom, lit by three Swarovski chandeliers, and cocktails and dinner can move out among the palms. The hotel can be taken for exclusive hire and holds up to around 440 guests. Menus are Mediterranean and Valencian, with cava, Spanish wines and cocktails, and private catering is also permitted. Komori, a Japanese restaurant of the Kabuki group, and a spa with a salt-water pool and Turkish hammam add to a city wedding set around a garden.

A wool factory turned landmark

Built in 1917 as the Industria Lanera Valenciana, the building is one of Valencia's finest examples of Modernista architecture. Its Secessionist facade of curved pediments and pale stone conceals a courtyard garden. It reopened as a hotel in 2006.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

This specific hotel was the best Westin I have ever stayed at. It exceeded all my expectations. Because of my platinum status, I was upgraded to an executive suite with my own private jacuzzi on the balcony/ terrace. After I checked in, every one of the staff members knew my name and who I was. Compared to the level of customer service in other hotels in Spain, this was by far the best. There was no other hotel that was close. The pool/ gym and Spa are all top-notch. My massage wasn't anything special (and was very expensive) but the facilities were all great. The restaurant in the hotel was incredible. Definitely, a 5-star Japanese Restaurant that was well taken care of. All my needs were met quickly and effectively. As someone who demands a lot from hotels because of my frequency of travel, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel for leisure as well as business. The wifi was great.
