The Gloves
The Gloves is a party band of eight musicians based in Rome, playing for couples who marry in Italy or travel there from abroad. Its repertoire is built around an upbeat, danceable evening, aimed at international guests as much as Italian ones.
Over more than 15 years the band has played at hundreds of weddings across Europe. Italy is its home ground, and it is willing to travel for events elsewhere on the continent.
A bilingual MC can guide the evening in two languages, and the line-up covers vocals and instrumentals. Music can be arranged for the ceremony and the drinks reception as well as the reception itself, with interludes between sets.
The packages build in stages. The Love package is an after-dinner live party followed by a DJ set and a show of synchronised dances until 2.30am. Big Love adds a three-piece acoustic concert at the drinks reception, Extra Love adds ceremony music, and the All-in package also includes a symbolic celebrant.
