Conifer Events

Conifer Events is a wedding planning and design company led by Hannah, who set up the business in 2018 after several years working in the events industry. Her background includes hotels, castles and other venues, and she moved into planning to focus on designing and delivering weddings.

The company concentrates on luxury destination weddings for couples who are arranging their day from another continent. Celebrations range from small gatherings and elopements to large occasions of up to 300 guests, and the team has also worked on weddings involving public figures.

A wedding designer and a planner work together on the look of the day, from the colour palette to the overall theme. Planning can involve 60 to 250 hours of work, covering timelines, floor plans, style ideas, supplier meetings, site tours, menu tastings and the rehearsal.

The company keeps to a small number of weddings each year, usually between 12 and 16, so that each couple has close attention. A small team of three, Hannah, a second Hannah and Celina, works on each celebration, with at least two members present on the day and usually three.

Conifer draws on an international network of suppliers it has worked with over several years. Couples are free to bring their own suppliers, although the team recommends those it knows.
