A quiet mews in Soho
The Soho Hotel is in Richmond Mews, a quiet street in the middle of Soho, on the site of a former car park. The rooms feel like stylish townhouses, service is seamless, and weddings here are warm, small and personal. It is one of the Firmdale hotels, alongside Haymarket Hotel.

From the street the hotel is understated. Inside, the design is Kit Kemp’s, built on texture, art and clever planning. Event spaces include drawing rooms, interconnecting private dining rooms and screening rooms, which suit an unusual ceremony or a set of speeches.

Capacity and ceremonies
Couples can host up to 70 seated or 100 standing guests, with options for a formal reception or a more relaxed one. Civil ceremonies are licensed, and several spaces can be combined so that the day runs from the vows to the party without a break.

Getting ready and staying
The hotel gives the in-between moments space: light-filled suites for getting ready, drinks in the bar before the ceremony, and artwork along the walls. Refuel, the hotel’s bar and restaurant, is anchored by an oak and pewter bar and a wall mural by Alexander Hollweg.

The 96 individually designed bedrooms and suites house the wedding party and any guests flying in or staying for the weekend. After the last dance the streets of Soho are outside the door.
