A Dubai planner with its own rental house

The Wedding Atelier is a wedding and event planning company in Dubai, with its office at Dubai Digital Park in Dubai Silicon Oasis. It plans luxury weddings, wedding proposals and high-end corporate events. It also designs and produces them, and hires out furniture, tableware, décor and lighting through its rental division, L’Atelier by The Wedding Atelier.

Audrey Maria Cadio

The company was founded by Audrey Maria Cadio. She began planning weddings in Miami in 2011 and opened a second agency in Paris in 2019, where she worked with international clients on tailored celebrations. She now works in Dubai, leading a team of planners, designers and coordinators. The company takes on a select number of events each year, so that each celebration has dedicated attention.

How planning works

Planning follows five steps. A framework maps out the vision for the celebration and the budget, then refines each element. Vendors are selected to suit the couple’s style and budget, with the team handling the communication and meetings. Styling comes next, with design boards that turn the vision into a clear design. The team then coordinates a detailed timeline and layout, and on the day arrives equipped to run the on-site coordination and logistics.

Venues and vendors in Dubai

A wedding can be planned from venue selection onwards. The team opens the doors to exclusive venues, negotiates with venue managers, agrees conditions and checks availability, whether the setting is a beach, a palace or the desert. It works with a network of Dubai vendors and handles communication with florists, musicians, decorators and performers on the couple’s behalf. Design and L’Atelier rentals

Event design covers décor, custom floral installations, tablescapes and lighting. The rental division supplies luxury furniture, tableware, décor and lighting for events planned by the company and for others.

Proposals and corporate events

Beyond weddings, the company plans bespoke wedding proposals and corporate events, including gala dinners, brand launches and executive retreats.

What it costs

The company does not publish its fees. After the first conversation it builds a bespoke budget around the couple’s expectations. Its own site is at the-weddingatelier.com.
