Neoclassical lagoon-side palace in the forests of north-west Poland
Manowce Palace is an early twentieth-century palace on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, hired exclusively to one wedding at a time.
Manowce is an early twentieth-century palace in the woods of north-west Poland, standing on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon close to the Baltic Sea. Restored to keep faith with its original idea of a grand rural retreat, the neoclassical house has a columned portico, antiques and paintings, and the lagoon in view from its terrace. The nearest village lies some distance away, and the surrounding forest gives the grounds a private, quiet character.
Weddings are hosted on an exclusive-use basis, with the house, gardens and waterfront lawn given to one couple at a time. Civil and humanist ceremonies take place in the ground floor salon or at a garden pavilion beside the water, and receptions are held in the palace rooms or under a marquee in the garden. Formats range from a wedding lunch to a full evening celebration, and the kitchen works with produce from West Pomerania and the palace vegetable garden. Sixteen bedrooms and apartments, including a bridal suite with a private terrace, let guests stay on site.

Built at the start of the twentieth century and since restored to its original vision of a grand country retreat, Manowce stands in extensive woodland on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, beside the Baltic Sea. The nearest village is some distance away, and the lagoon is visible from the terrace.

The neoclassical house has a columned portico and interiors with antiques and paintings, set alongside modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Five reception rooms are available for celebrations, with Wi-Fi throughout.

Civil and humanist ceremonies are held in the ground floor salon, or outdoors at a wedding pavilion by the lagoon edge, between the water and the palace.

Each wedding has the whole palace, gardens and grounds to itself, apart from small summer wedding lunches of up to 20 guests.
Sixteen rooms and apartments sleep up to 42 guests, or 50 with full-size extra beds, and are included in wedding packages.

A marquee-style pavilion in the garden hosts up to 100 guests overlooking the water.
Silver, Gold and Platinum menus use local West Pomeranian produce, often from the palace vegetable garden, with four courses and a choice of two dishes for each.

Wedding lunches, receptions and full weddings are offered, with no minimum guest number, down to intimate celebrations for the couple and a few guests.
Szczecin is 45 minutes away by car; Szczecin Goleniow Airport is 75 minutes away by car and Heringsdorf Airport is 110 minutes away by car.
