Sif Jakobs
Sif Jakobs Jewellery is a Copenhagen-based Danish jewellery house offering lab-grown diamond engagement rings and wedding bands in 14 karat gold, and sterling silver bridal jewellery set with zirconia.
Sif JakobsDesigner and founderSif Jakobs
Sif Jakobs Jewellery is a Danish jewellery house founded in 2009 by the designer Sif Jakobs, born in Iceland and trained as a goldsmith in Sweden. She has been based in Copenhagen since 2000, and the brand's headquarters are at Mesterlodden 23 in Gentofte, just north of the city.
The design approach is affordable luxury with a Nordic restraint: clean lines, sparkle and a strong sense of proportion. Italy is a second home to the designer, and many collections are named after Italian places, among them Venice, Rome, Ravello and Alba. Memories of Icelandic landscape, its rock formations and volcanic structures, also feed the work. Her mantra is "Let Yourself Shine".
“I love jewellery that adds glamour to a woman's look. This is why my jewellery always sparkles and stands out.”
Sif Jakobs, designer and founder
For weddings the house offers a fine-jewellery line of lab-grown diamond rings, from solitaire engagement rings to half-eternity and full-eternity bands, in 14 karat yellow or white gold. Stones are graded TW G-H colour and VS clarity. Alongside it sits a bridal edit in 925 sterling silver, rhodium-plated or plated with 18 karat gold and set with hand-set cubic zirconia, with necklaces, earrings and bracelets for the bride, her party and her guests.
The brand's factory is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. Silver pieces are nickel-free, and engraving can be added to selected collections before purchase. Pieces arrive in a gift box or bag.
Sif Jakobs Jewellery is sold online in the United Kingdom at sifjakobs.uk, with orders shipped from a warehouse in Denmark, and through retailers in 21 countries. Awards include Brand to Watch at the UK Jewellery Awards 2016 and Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year at the Inhorgenta Award 2017.

Before you write to them
Which wedding rings does Sif Jakobs Jewellery make?
The fine-jewellery diamond collection includes solitaire engagement rings, half-eternity and full-eternity bands and statement rings, all in 14 karat yellow or white gold with lab-grown diamonds. The silver collections add more affordable bridal necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
What are the diamonds and metals made from?
The diamond rings are made in 14 karat solid gold (585) with lab-grown diamonds of TW G-H colour and VS clarity. Silver jewellery is 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating or 18 karat gold plating, set with high-quality cubic zirconia, and is nickel-free.
Can my jewellery be engraved?
Free engraving can be added to pieces from the Follina and Portofino collections, and it must be added before the item goes into the basket. Engraved pieces are made especially for you, take around 5 to 7 business days to arrive, and cannot be exchanged or returned.
How long does delivery take in the UK?
Orders ship from a warehouse in Denmark with UPS and typically arrive in 2 to 3 business days. Delivery is free on orders over £89. Delivery is not available to the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey.
Can I exchange or return a piece, for example a ring in the wrong size?
Items bought on sifjakobs.uk can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of receipt, in their original condition and packaging. An exchange label costs £3.95, a refund return label costs £8.95, and choosing a gift card adds 10 percent extra value with a free label.
What warranty applies?
All products are covered by a 24-month right of complaint for faults and defects, under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. It does not cover misuse, lack of maintenance or normal wear.
How should I look after wedding jewellery?
Put jewellery on last and take it off first, and keep it away from perfume, hairspray, lotions and cleaning products. Remove it before showering, swimming or exercising. Wipe it with a soft cloth, or wash gold-plated and rhodium-plated pieces in lukewarm water with pH-neutral soap, and store each piece separately.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes. Gift cards are sold at sifjakobs.uk, and all pieces come wrapped in a gift box or gift bag.
