Whether fashioning romantic silhouettes or modern tailoring, each piece is personally designed by Sian to emulate timeless elegance whilst incorporating the clients’ individual style.

Focusing on high-quality couture and sourcing fabrics from our vast network of suppliers of the finest European laces and silks, you can feel confident in Shimmering Ivory’s knowledge and experience to turn bridal dreams into a reality. From making her first dress at just eight years old, Sian has always maintained a strong interest in fashion and creative design. Pursuing her passion to degree level, Sian obtained her BA Hons in Fashion Design and Marketing. Gaining experience in Paris prior to establishing herself as a coveted lingerie designer in New York, Sian has worked with internationally renowned brands including Calvin Klein and Victoria Secret.

Why did you start Shimmering Ivory?

Shimmering Ivory was started as a way to promote inclusivity in the bridal industry! There was a gap in the market for luxury, size-inclusive bridal wear and I wanted to fill it.

What services do you offer? 

We offer the opportunity for brides to create the couture dress of their dreams! From the initial design consultation to the final fitting, our expert team of couturiers will hand-cut a bespoke pattern which can then be customised with beading, luxury fabric and intricate lace detail

I already have my wedding dress; can you alter it for me? 

Of course! At Shimmering Ivory, we offer a couture alterations service to ensure your dress is the perfect fit for your big day!

Shimmering Ivory is a completely size-inclusive brand! As a couture service, we aim to flatter every different body size and shape with our bespoke design and custom tailoring
