Lesley Cutler Bridal Wear

Lesley Cutler trained for four years at the London College of Fashion and went on to work for names including Norman Hartnell, Jenny Packham and John Galliano. She later designed the bridal range for Ronald Joyce and managed the workroom of Elizabeth Emanuel, the designer of Princess Diana's wedding dress, before opening her own made-to-measure studio in Milton Keynes.

Each dress begins with a conversation and a sketch. Lesley explores the options with the bride, who chooses every element of the dress, from silks and laces sourced in the United Kingdom to beadwork and embroidery, and follows its progress through each stage of making.

The studio makes dresses for mature brides, with silhouettes designed around the figure, as well as mother of the bride and groom outfits, which can be made with a coordinating jacket or as a two-piece suit. Lesley also remodels, restyles and fits ready-made gowns, adding sleeves or straps, adjusting necklines and hems, or taking a dress in or out.

The studio also makes outfits for other occasions, including High Sheriff outfits, christening gowns and prom and evening dresses.
