The beauty of the landscape provides beautiful views of the crystalline blue Mediterranean Sea, and the 230 acres of park filled with almond trees and aromatic citrus groves become the ideal setting for the photo shoot and a fabulous wedding reception, from the welcome drink to the cutting of the cake.
Directly on the private beach of the Resort, within the enchanting amphitheatre surrounded by olive trees, on the sea-view terrace of the Liolà restaurant or, for the more exuberant, directly on our green golf courses, which contrasts with the blue of the sea in the background. Designed in harmony with the surrounding landscape with an elegant and refined design, the different interior spaces of the Resort are perfect for organizing small ceremonies and bigger receptions.
A fine stone floor characterizes the large Ballroom with stunning views over the Sicilian hills and can accommodate up to 240 people. The Liolà restaurant provides a terrace overlooking the cliffs. It welcomes guests in an atmosphere that recalls the typical colours and features of the Sicilian territory (space for up to 90 people).
The restaurant Buon Giorno, evocatively overlooking the infinity pool, may accommodate up to 120 people. In the spring and summer time as well as in warm autumn evenings, the outdoor spaces of the Resort are transformed to host the welcome cocktail and the dinner: on board the infinity pool facing the sunset over the sea or under the olive trees among the soft lighting of candles, under a sky shining with stars.
Once the location for the ceremony is set, a team of professionals will take care of every detail of the event to reflect each guest's different needs and styles. Our master chefs will study a customized menu with recipes from the Italian and Sicilian Tradition, enhanced by fresh local ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil, citrus fruits, freshly caught fish and organic vegetables from our garden. The best local and international wines, selected by the sommelier, will complete the experience. The celebration continues after dinner in the elegant foyer with a dedicated bar and live music.
After the celebration and once the special day has arrived to the end, the dream goes on at Verdura Resort will continue to pamper the spouses with a complimentary stay: a night in one of the suites overlooking the sea and a relaxing break inside the Verdura Spa, a wellness temple of 4000 square meters where body and spirit can regenerate and restore balance.
