Petr Pelucha Photography

Petr Pělucha has photographed weddings professionally since 2010. He began taking photographs in London, went on to exhibit internationally, taught photography and studied at Charles University before settling on portrait and wedding work. His studio, Foto Studio Pělucha, is in Všedobrovice, a short drive from Prague.

His wedding photography blends documentary storytelling with fine-art portraiture. He works quietly, keeping out of the way so that candid moments and the atmosphere of the day are recorded as they happen, and offers simple, natural direction for the couple portraits. He prefers natural light and a subtle, consistent edit so that a whole wedding reads as one story.

He photographs everything from intimate elopements, civil ceremonies and church weddings to full-day celebrations and multi-day weddings, in Prague, across the Czech Republic and abroad. The portfolio runs from rooftop portraits above the red roofs of Prague and Charles Bridge at first light to chateau weddings such as Chateau Mcely and ceremonies at Villa Richter and the House of Lobkowicz.

Couples receive professionally edited images in a secure online gallery. Handcrafted albums in Italian binding, framed prints and fine-art boxed prints are also available, and a second photographer can be added to the day.
