KG Events Malta

KG Events is a wedding and event organiser in Malta, led by Katia Gatt. The company takes on a wedding as a whole project, from the venue to the transport, so that couples can step back from the logistics and look forward to the day.

The team works across the islands and with a wide network of local suppliers: venues from five-star hotels and historic palazzos to villas, beach clubs and private yachts, as well as florists, caterers, photographers, videographers and chauffeur-driven bridal cars. Options are presented to suit each couple's taste, size and budget, and the couple makes the final choices.

Many of their couples live abroad. KG Events has planned weddings for clients from the UK, the USA and Australia, and handles the local side of marrying in Malta, including the choice between a civil ceremony, a church wedding and a ceremony in a place of worship of another faith. They also plan same-sex weddings.

On the day, two wedding organisers are on duty. They look after the timeline, set up the venue items the couple has supplied, hand out bouquets and button-holes, assist the bridal party during the ceremony, keep the bars stocked, make sure food reaches every guest, pay suppliers where asked and clear the venue when the couple leaves.

The same team also plans hen parties, engagement parties, pre and post wedding celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers and conferences.
