Villa Catalina, also called Villa Almanita, is a restored Catalan mansion built in 1779 to make wine and kept by one family for more than two hundred years. It stands in 32 hectares of private grounds and vineyards in the hills of Sant Pere de Ribes, about ten minutes from Sitges and the Mediterranean. No other properties overlook it, which gives the estate real privacy and freedom from noise restrictions.
Weddings take over the whole place. Couples marry in the green courtyard or among the gardens, dine in an arched indoor hall that seats up to 150, and dance in a 200-year-old bodega where the original barrels still line the walls. The estate welcomes up to 250 guests, and 24 bedrooms with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors sleep about 52 so that the wedding party can stay together. A swimming pool and open grounds fill the quieter hours. Couples bring their own caterer, with trusted local vendors on hand and menus that can follow the wines and cava of the Penedès. A wine estate held by one family
Built in 1779 as a wine-making estate by a family of woodworkers, the mansion stayed in the same family for more than two centuries. Now restored, it stands in 32 hectares of private grounds and vineyards in the hills of Sant Pere de Ribes, close to the beaches of Sitges but with no neighbours in sight.

Ceremonies are set in the secluded green courtyard or the gardens. Dinner is laid in the arched indoor hall or out in the courtyard, and later the party moves to the 200-year-old bodega, where the estate's original wine barrels remain beside modern lighting and climate control.

I'd recommend the villa to anyone
We hosted our organisational retreat at Villa Catalina and couldn't have been more delighted with the property, service and location! There was more than enough space for 17 of us to work and have fun in equal measure - I'd recommend the villa to anyone thinking of staying in the area ... pool, terrace, hot tub and all of the rooms were incredible. Servais and Zoe were awesome hosts and we'd absolutely consider Villa Catalina for future stays.
