Hever Castle is a double-moated castle begun in the thirteenth century, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, offering ceremonies in the Astor Wing, the castle or the Italian Garden and 27 bed and breakfast rooms beside the moat.
Hever Castle in the Weald of Kent is a double-moated castle begun in the thirteenth century and best known as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. William Waldorf Astor restored it in the early 1900s, added the Tudor-style Astor Wing beside it and laid out Italian Gardens around a 38-acre lake, with a columned Loggia, statuary and pergolas of roses and wisteria. The village of Hever lies on the doorstep, and Gatwick Airport is about 30 minutes away.
Weddings are held in three settings. In the Astor Wing, the Tudor Suite Sitting Room is licensed for the ceremony and the Dining Room is set for the breakfast, for up to 60. The castle offers its carved Inner Hall and the Great Hall on selected dates, and the Loggia suits a ceremony or drinks by the lake. Evening receptions use the Moat Restaurant, a tipi or the Guthrie Pavilion, which takes up to 220. The estate's own chefs cook seasonal modern British menus. Eighteen bedrooms in the Astor Wing and, subject to availability, nine in the Anne Boleyn Wing let the party stay the night. A minimum of 25 adults applies.

Hever is a double-moated castle begun in the thirteenth century. Anne Boleyn spent her childhood here, so a wedding takes place inside a well-known piece of Tudor history. William Waldorf Astor restored the castle and added the Tudor-style Astor Wing beside it in the early 1900s.

The Tudor Suite Sitting Room in the Astor Wing is licensed for ceremonies, with the Dining Room set for the wedding breakfast, for up to 60. The castle offers its carved Inner Hall and the Great Hall, and the Italian Garden Loggia stands by the lake for a ceremony or drinks in the open air.

Astor laid out one of England's finest Italian gardens here, with a columned Loggia and piazza by a 38-acre lake, statuary, and pergolas heavy with roses and wisteria. Couples photograph among the topiary and archways.

The estate's own chefs serve seasonal modern British menus in the Tudor Suite or beneath the portraits of the Great Hall. Evening receptions move to the Moat Restaurant, a tipi or the Guthrie Pavilion, and the party sleeps in the Astor Wing or the Anne Boleyn Wing.
