A quiet corner of the coast
Rocky’s Boutique Resort sits in a secluded corner of a lush tropical landscape, on the southeast coast of Koh Samui in Thailand. It is a small resort for travellers who want a mix of luxury, privacy and natural beauty, with service that attends to detail and a stay planned around calm and enjoyment.

Rooms and villas
The resort has rooms and villas designed for comfort and style. They range from deluxe garden and pool views to oceanfront bungalows, and each gives guests a different setting.
The resort has 70 rooms and villas in all, two pools, a spa and a gym. The restaurant stands on a granite rock above the water, where long-tailed fishing boats come and go each day, and the beach of Lamai is about 1.5 km away.
The interiors are carefully designed, with modern amenities and traditional touches that reflect local culture. Large windows and private balconies keep the surroundings in view and link each room to its setting.

Food and drink
The resort’s restaurants focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and cook in global and traditional Thai cuisines. Guests can eat in settings that range from beachfront dining under the stars to quiet dinners among the resort’s tropical gardens. The kitchen serves a romantic dinner for two or a casual meal with friends, and each dish is prepared with care.

Wellness and activities
The resort’s spa provides rest and renewal for guests who want to unwind. The resort offers a full range of treatments and therapies inspired by ancient traditions and made with natural products to relax the body and mind.
Guests who prefer activity have plenty of choice, at the resort and around it. These range from snorkelling in clear water to exploring local markets and temples and meeting the area’s culture and natural beauty.

Events and celebrations
Rocky’s is a venue for weddings, celebrations and corporate retreats, and its landscape and varied event spaces suit each occasion. Weddings are held on a private beach, in a Thai Buddhist or a Western style, for parties of up to 60 guests. A dedicated team of planners and caterers tailors each event to the couple. Details are on the resort’s website.
A wedding planner works with the couple before and after arrival. The Buddhist Blessing Package, from THB 75,000 net, includes planning, floral decoration on the private beach, a bamboo canopy, Buddhist monks and a water blessing, a bouquet and buttonhole, bridal hair and make-up, a single-tier cake, sparkling wine and canapés, honeymoon room decoration and a return airport transfer. A Western wedding package is also offered, and either can be adapted to the couple.
Sustainability and the community
As well as offering a luxury retreat, the resort is committed to sustainability and to a positive effect on the community. It follows eco-friendly practices and supports local conservation efforts that protect the natural beauty of the setting. Guests are encouraged to take part in these initiatives, which creates a link with the local environment and culture.

An escape on the Gulf of Thailand
With its rooms, dining, activities and commitment to sustainability, the resort offers a mix of relaxation, adventure and local culture. It suits a destination wedding, a romantic getaway, a family holiday or a solitary retreat into nature.
