A five-star resort on Pissouri Bay with a Byzantine-inspired chapel and sea-view terraces
5.01 reviewA five-star resort in Pissouri Bay, between Limassol and Paphos, with a sea-view chapel, terraces, pergolas and a ballroom for weddings.
Columbia Beach Resort stands above Pissouri Bay on the south coast of Cyprus, between Limassol and Paphos, beneath the cliffs of Cape Aspro. The first hotel here opened in 1990 and the resort followed in 2005, and a renovation completed in 2017 reintroduced it across 75,000 square metres of gardens. It is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and its 169 suites range from junior suites to private-pool suites on the hillside.
Ceremonies can take place in All Saints Chapel, a Byzantine-inspired building overlooking the sea whose interior was painted by the artist John Corbidge. Receptions are held on sea-view terraces and pergolas, at the beach and pool bars, in the Atrium and Bacchus restaurants, or in the Oval Ballroom, which can be used whole or divided. The resort prepares all food and drink itself, with menus drawn from its Cypriot tavern, Mediterranean restaurant and grill. Guests who stay on can use Hebe Spa, the tennis, squash and padel courts, and the water sports and hiking routes along the coast. Paphos airport is about fifteen minutes away by car.

Best hotel in the Limassol area. The location at Pissouri Bay is amazing, and the whole place has a special feel. We thank Mr Scheller for creating this resort because we really enjoy the magic here. Food is better now than before, and the tavern has improved a lot. It is not cheap, but you can treat yourself once or twice a year.
The only thing to fix is the very loud group bookings from a specific country. Some groups do not respect the place and can ruin the experience, so the management should avoid this in the future. Overall, a top resort and one of the best stays in Cyprus.
