TFY Weddings grew out of Tours For You, a destination management company in Portugal that began in 2003 and specialises in charming, luxury and experiential travel. It was the only Portuguese Virtuoso On-Site operator nominated in 2014 as one of the five best on-site providers in the world, and the wedding brand brings that experience to couples marrying in Portugal.
The team is based in Lisbon and led by Bernardete Quintela as Director of Events, with Rita Henriques as wedding planner and Sónia Ribeiro as financial controller. Bernardete spent eight years promoting French tourism in Portugal through demanding events before joining; Rita describes each wedding as a unique story.

TFY Weddings
They plan the whole day: reception venue, flowers and décor, photographer and videographer, catering, musicians and invitations, with airport transfers and accommodation for larger groups if needed. Couples can ask for as little or as much help as they want, from guidance on a few decisions to full organisation.
Venues range across the country: palaces and quintas around Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon, hotels and wine estates in the Douro and Porto, Alentejo country retreats such as Sublime Comporta and São Lourenço do Barrocal, the Algarve and Madeira. Their own wedding stories are grouped as beach, vintage, vineyard and majestic celebrations.
TFY Weddings also looks after the weekend around the wedding: guest accommodation and activities, honeymoons in Portugal or Spain through Tours For You, anniversaries and vow renewals, and an optional Zero Carbon wedding that calculates and offsets the emissions of guest travel.
