Axioo Bali

AXIOO is a wedding photography and videography company based in Kerobokan, Bali, run as a team of photographers, cinematographers, editors and designers working under one roof. They describe more than 20 years of work documenting weddings in Indonesia, and say they photograph hundreds of weddings a year, from grand and glamorous celebrations to small and intimate ones.

Each wedding is photographed by one named photographer from the team, so couples choose the eye they like. Adi favours simple, soothing frames with strong emotion and the quiet chemistry between two people. Kris describes himself as a modern expressionist who looks for a couple's own way of showing intimacy. Will is the newest of the line-up and works closely and warmly with couples, while Robb, Wilson and Leo cover film and storytelling.

The work moves easily between settings. The portfolio includes cliff-edge ceremonies above the Indian Ocean in Uluwatu, resort weddings at Jumeirah Bali, Balinese ceremonies in traditional dress at Sanur, and Chinese tea ceremonies, alongside colour, black and white and film photography. Bold colour, strong light and happy people run through all of it.

Away from Bali, the team has photographed in Kuala Lumpur, Kyoto, Jakarta, Rome and Prague, and describes an overseas portfolio across Asia, Australia, North America, Europe and Scandinavia. Pre-wedding and engagement sessions, same day edit films and full wedding films are made by the same team.

The studio, Jl. Raya Kerobokan No. 118, is open to couples by appointment only. Enquiries are handled by Vina, who is the first point of contact for bookings.
