Infinity Studio Italy

Pasquale De Maio has photographed weddings for two decades. He began in his native Irpinia in Campania and has since worked on the Amalfi Coast, in Paris, New York, Chicago and Cancun. He has also worked with two photography agencies in New York, Photography by Alfonso and Studio One.

Infinity Studio Italy is a small studio. Pasquale works with his brother Emiliano De Maio and further studio staff, and a second shooter is available. The studio is registered in Montoro, in the Irpinia hills of Avellino, while much of the portfolio is shot on the Amalfi Coast and further afield.

His own description of his pictures is spontaneous and sincere, made to carry the emotion of the day. Light does much of the work: many frames are made at the very end of the day, with couples reduced to silhouette against the setting sun, and others show a bride laughing behind a vintage camera or a wedding set against the striped facade of the Amalfi Duomo.

Within Italy the portfolio reaches Paestum, Matera and Naples, and abroad it includes Paris, New York, Chicago, Cancun, St Gallen and Barcelona. Albums, photo printing and thank-you cards are offered alongside the photography.

The work has earned awards and nominations between 2015 and 2021, including second place in Wedding Photojournalism (Macedonia, 2017) and Choice Editor and Best Week from My Wed in 2021. Pasquale also published Etua, a travel photobook of seventy-two photographs and text, in 2022.
