Long Bay Beach Resort
Beachfront resort on Tortola, British Virgin Islands
5.03 reviewsLong Bay Beach Resort is a beachfront resort on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, with 37 rooms, a restaurant in an 18th-century rum distillery and a mile of white sand.
Long Bay Beach Resort sits on a mile of white sand at Long Bay, on the West End of Tortola, the capital island of the British Virgin Islands. The resort is built on a 52-acre estate, and its rambling main building recalls a plantation house. Its 37 rooms include beach houses, beach villas, ground floor suites, ocean view suites and hillside studios, with ocean views and private balconies. The 1748 Restaurant occupies an 18th-century rum distillery on the beachfront, and its menus use fresh organic ingredients from island farms, fisheries and the resort's own garden.
Weddings take place on the resort's garden lawn, which seats up to 160 guests for a ceremony, or on the beachfront. An on-site coordinator works with couples on their plans, and the resort arranges the marriage licence through the Registrar's Office. Between ceremonies and receptions, guests can use the beach, Johnny's Beach Bar, the pool, the spa, the yoga classes and the gym, or take a private charter for surfing, snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding or sailing.

What guests say
Breathtaking views and hospitality!
We were lucky enough to stumble upon this place when planning our trip to Tortola. It went beyond our expectations! Just from the moment we got picked up from the airport, we felt like we were part of the Long Bay family. The food was incredible along with the drinks served by Kimberly and Max at Johnny’s Bar. The views were amazing and it was one of our most relaxing trips that we’ve been on. We also got to take a private charter through the hotel with Captain Tommy and thoroughly enjoyed our time and exploration of some of the surrounding islands. I would highly recommend anyone traveling here to ensure to stay at least a few nights here.
