About The Treasure Resort Koh Madsum, Samui

The Treasure Koh Madsum is a 37-villa resort on the small island of Koh Madsum, with beach and pontoon ceremonies and receptions for up to 100 guests.

The Treasure Koh Madsum stands on Koh Madsum, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand about 30 minutes by long-tail boat from the south-west coast of Koh Samui. The resort was built by a local family, with the villas planned around the island's existing trees and no connection to an electric grid. Thirty-seven villas sit among the forest and along two beaches, with two pool areas, a spa, and two restaurants serving Thai and international dishes.

Weddings are private and held on the beach or on a pontoon platform with sea views. Three packages cover planning, coordination, floral decoration, a master of ceremonies and a candlelit beach dinner for the couple, and the Premium package extends to a cake, photography, video and a reception with a fire dance show. Receptions can host up to 100 guests, and the Tented Villas around their own pool suit wedding parties staying together. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available to guests, with coral reefs close to the shore.

A family-built island retreat

The resort was built by a local family, the Viriyanons, on Koh Madsum, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand about 30 minutes by boat from Koh Samui. The island has no electric grid, and the villas were designed around the existing trees, which keeps the property hard to see from a distance.
