Studio27 by Andreas Politis Photography and Cinematography
Studio27 is based in Corfu and run by Andreas Politis and his wife Thomai, with Panos as a third partner. All three work on weddings, and photography and film are treated as separate practices of equal weight rather than one serving the other.
The approach favours the unrehearsed. The team says it prefers the imperfect and the ordinary to a tidied version of the day, and looks for real emotion and the beauty that sits beneath the surface of a celebration.
Couples who suit the studio are those happy to leave the usual formulas behind: climbing a rock, stepping into the water, walking barefoot across a meadow or letting the wind tousle their hair for a frame. Most of the work is outdoors and in natural light.
Photography has its own section of the studio's portfolio, with more than thirty individually named weddings from Corfu, Santorini, Meteora and elsewhere. Beyond Greece, the team has photographed weddings in Switzerland, Italy, Albania and the United States.

Is it a solo photographer or a team?
It is a team of three: Andreas Politis and his wife Thomai, together with their partner Panos.
Does the studio shoot film as well as photographs?
Yes. Photography and film are run as two separate practices. This profile covers the photography.
What does a wedding cost?
Prices depend on the wedding. Fees are given on request.
What is the photographic style?
Outdoors, in natural light and unposed. The team favours the imperfect and the real over the arranged.
Which parts of Greece does the studio cover?
Corfu first, then Santorini, Athens, Thessaloniki, Drama, Kavala, Meteora, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina and Mesolonghi.
Are baptisms photographed too?
Yes. Baptism photography and film have a dedicated section alongside weddings.
What kind of couple suits the studio?
Couples who are not afraid to step outside the usual schemes, whether that means climbing a rock, getting into the water or walking barefoot on a meadow.
