5.03 reviewsJW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is a resort on its own island in the Venetian lagoon, with a Church for 250, a ballroom for 380, a spa and 266 rooms and suites.
JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa occupies Isola delle Rose, a private island in the Venetian lagoon. The architect Matteo Thun reworked a historic island complex into a resort of olive groves, orchards, vegetable gardens and lawns. A complimentary hotel boat reaches St Mark's Square in about 20 minutes.
Ceremonies can be held in the island's deconsecrated brick Church, which takes up to 250 guests, or outdoors among the olive groves and on the lagoon-side lawns. Symbolic ceremonies and blessings take place on the island, while legal weddings are registered at the Venice comune. Receptions use the Venezia Ballroom, which seats up to 380 and has four breakout rooms, along with rooftop terraces and the lawns. The resort has four restaurants and three bars, among them the Sagra Rooftop and Fiola at Dopolavoro Venezia, a GOCO Spa overlooking the lagoon and three pools, one on the roof. Its 266 rooms and suites, including loft suites and private Residenze, let the wedding party stay on the island.
