Ferdinand Atelier

Ferdinand is a young designer working in the Made in Italy tradition. In a few years the label has become a reference point for a number of figures in the Italian fashion and entertainment world.

The designer received a couture award from Cavalier Mario Boselli, honorary president of the National Chamber of Fashion, with Adriana di Lello, chief editor of Elle Italia, and Myra Postolache, a Vogue Talent contributor, also present. On that occasion Ferdinand represented Made in Italy at Mad Mood in Milan.

Haute couture and bridal garments are made in the atelier in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, in the province of Naples. Brides come from across Italy, and in recent years from abroad as well. Each gown is a one-off design drawn for the client, cut and tailored by a couturier.

Tailoring technique is treated as an art of modelling, combined with invention and a feel for design. The gowns use high quality fabrics and materials, and many carry embroidery worked entirely by hand.

Ferdinand also looks after the whole appearance of the bride. The total look service covers the wedding dress, bridal make-up and the bridal hairstyle, all handled by the designer in person.
