Weddings By Emily Charlotte
Weddings by Emily Charlotte offers planning from the first concept through to discreet coordination on the day. It is based in Horsham and works mainly in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Dorset, and further afield, with destination weddings in Italy, particularly Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento.
The service suits professional couples who already have a clear picture of a stylish, modern wedding and prefer their own traditions to conventional ones. Emily Charlotte is the owner and main planner, supported by a small group of hand-picked independent planners.
Planning follows three principles. Communication is regular and plain, with advice given when an idea needs more thought or may stretch the budget. Organisation is thorough, with the planner making suggestions and managing bookings and supplier relationships while the couple keeps the final say. The working relationship is personal, since a couple may work with the planner for anything from 6 months to 2 years.
Couples can speak to their planner directly by phone as well as by email, and messages are answered promptly.
