Dario Varsalona was born in Naples in December 1983 and still works from the city, from a studio on Via Galileo Ferraris. By his own account the interest began in 2008 at the Tutto Sposi wedding fair at the Mostra d'Oltremare. He then took three wedding planning courses, one of them with Cira Lombardo, assisted her on her events, and later worked alongside the Neapolitan florist Massimo Iodice.
The business now trades as Dario Varsalona event production and covers weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. His team lists its roles rather than its names: wedding designer, event manager, graphic designer, space designer, floral designer, architect, 3D designer, light designer, video maker, photographer and set designer. Trend scouts working for the studio feed new ideas into the designs.
“Donare istanti di felicità, attimi in cui il sogno sposa la realtà e tutto si fonde, tutto diventa pura magia.”

Each project is designed for the client rather than taken from a package. A collaborator who helped on a wedding in Cilento wrote that it started from sketches Dario drew by hand, and that the structures were then built by his team. His own description of the style is sophisticated and essential, with clean, linear forms, where the luxury shows in the detail.
His published gallery shows one large celebration in Campania: a ceremony aisle laid over mirrored water, a civil ceremony under a floral canopy, a blossom ceiling over the reception, mirrored tables lit with black tapers, live dancers on stage, a cake built as a lit staircase and fireworks in the garden.
Most of the work is in Naples and the wider Campania region. His films include weddings at La Canzone del Mare on Capri and at the Blu Yachting Club, and he says he is available for events elsewhere in Italy and abroad.
