Positano Elopement Wedding
Sophisticated Weddings plans destination weddings on one stretch of Italian coast: Sorrento, Positano and Ravello, with the venues between them. It plans for international couples, and the studio's own venue pages run from Villa Eva and Villa Cimbrone in Ravello to Rada and Villa Magia in Positano and Villa Zagara, Villa Eliana and the Grand Hotel Royal in Sorrento.
Victoria Morris leads the business as Creative Director. She is British, has lived and worked between the UK and Italy, and speaks English and Italian as native languages, which she says keeps communication clear through the whole planning process. She first saw Sorrento on a family holiday as a child, learned Italian with the aim of returning, and later planned her own wedding there. The studio says it has more than twelve years' experience on this coast, and every wedding runs under her direct oversight with a bilingual team behind her.

The company works on a fixed fee and does not sell packages. Its scope covers civil ceremonies in town halls and licensed venues, symbolic ceremonies with a celebrant in villas, gardens, terraces or at sea, help with the legal paperwork, venue sourcing, flowers and styling, photographers and filmmakers, hair and make-up, cars, guest transfers and a concierge service for boat trips, rehearsal dinners and excursions. Elopements and small weddings are planned on the same basis as larger celebrations.
On design, Victoria describes her approach as calm, detailed production built around the setting, with the house, terrace or garden left to do much of the work. Her published weddings show long tables on cliff terraces at dusk, white and green flowers, lanterns and candlelight. Weddings she planned have appeared in Wedding Ideas, Weddings & Honeymoons and Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad, and she lists the Luxury Travel Guide's Destination Wedding Specialist of the Year for Italy and WeddingWire Couples' Choice awards for 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 among the studio's recognition.

Victoria matches the ceremony date and time with the reception venue, then deposits are paid and the venue secured. She suggests starting about a year ahead.
The fee is agreed at the start, so the cost of planning is clear from the outset whatever you go on to choose.
Once the date is fixed, cars, photographers, hair and make-up, flowers and styling are chosen, and you are told at each stage which documents are needed and by when.
Victoria and her bilingual team run the wedding day itself, with guest transfers and any side events handled alongside.

No figure is published. The studio works on a fixed fee set for each wedding, not a percentage of what you spend. Victoria also declines to give a typical budget, since venue menus are priced per head and the rest depends on your guest list and choices.
