Dream On Wedding Team

Dream On Wedding is based in Marsciano, in the Tiber valley south of Perugia, and plans weddings for couples who live outside Italy. Umbria is home ground, and the agency says it works across the country from there, naming Tuscany, Rome and the Amalfi Coast among the places where it has worked with suppliers.

Eleonora Bonomi founded and leads it. She was born in Perugia, took a degree in Science and Technology for Artistic Production, specialised in cinematic scenography and worked on film and theatre sets in Italy and abroad. The company began by building set-ups for corporate events and only later turned to weddings, which explains its approach: a wedding is treated as a set to be designed, drawn and then built.

The agency runs the work in house rather than handing it out. Its design studio prepares moodboards, scenographic sketches, 3D renderings and compositional tests before anything is made. It has its own florists, trained by the agency, a workshop, a showroom, a warehouse of furniture and props, and its own vans. Couples deal with one contact and one budget, though the team will work with suppliers a couple has already chosen.

Around Eleonora are an office administrator, a wedding planner and coordinator, an event designer with an interior design background and a 3D designer, with a technical crew of fitters, electricians and sound engineers for the build and breakdown. The team works in English and Italian. The style it describes is elegant rather than fashionable: built around the couple and the place, with every detail there to tell their story and nothing added for decoration alone.
