Eventilab is a wedding planning and design studio in Rome, founded and led by Chiara Di Bari. She studied literature, took one of the first professional wedding planner courses in Rome in the early 2000s, then worked on public events, corporate events and international productions before setting up Eventilab in 2015. She now has more than twenty years in events.
The work runs from first idea to the last hour of the party: venue search, budget, suppliers and contracts, design, timeline, guests and the running of the day. Chiara leads each wedding herself and supervises the day with her team. Couples who already have their suppliers can book coordination only, and couples who want the look without full planning can book design and styling on its own.
“Every wedding I create is unique, but they all share one thing: attention to detail.”
Chiara Di Bari, founder
Most of its weddings are in and around Rome, at venues such as Villa Miani, Villa Aurelia, Palazzo Brancaccio, Villa Dino on the Appia Antica, the Castello di Tor Crescenza, Scuderie San Giorgio, Villa Mondragone in the Castelli Romani, the Antiche Scuderie Odescalchi, and the Castello di Bracciano on Lake Bracciano. Further out there are abbey weddings at San Pastore and San Giusto, a castle wedding at Torre Alfina and, in 2026, a wedding at Villa La Rondinaia in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. The studio also plans in Tuscany, Umbria and on Lake Como.
For couples living abroad Chiara handles the legal side of marrying in Italy, including the Nulla Osta, translations and appointments, along with guest travel, transfers and accommodation. Many of these weddings run over several days, with welcome dinners, wine tours, boat trips and a farewell brunch around the main event.
The design starts from the setting. Recent weddings range from candlelit long tables under painted ceilings to garden dinners on the lawn of a cloister, with flowers, lighting and stationery built to suit each house. The studio also designs invitations, seating plans and the other paper for the day.
