Maggy Müller and Vienna Picnics
Vienna Picnics is a proposal and elopement planner based in Vienna. Maggy Müller founded it in 2023 after more than ten years as a managing director in gastronomy, and her training as a sommelière and her feeling for decor, food and drink sit behind every set-up.
The work centres on a styled picnic: a low table, cushions, rugs, a parasol, flowers, candles and, for proposals and elopements, a floral arch or a hanging chandelier. Maggy scouts the location, arranges the food and drink, sets everything up and tidies away afterwards, so the couple only has to arrive. For a proposal, she says the only thing left to bring is the ring.

Pictures and music are part of the planning. The Proposal and Elopement Picnic packages include photography by a photographer she trusts, and add-ons such as live music, a violinist, a videographer, a photo booth or a special cake can be booked through external professionals.
Locations are chosen from trusted venue partners in and around Vienna, outdoors or indoors, from castle parks and hillside views to a living room or hotel room when the weather does not cooperate. She also works with brides-to-be on bridal showers, and with companies on picnic team events for up to 24 guests.
