About

Our independent spirit shines through our recent £6 million renovation of our 1911 Grade II listed Manor House. We've updated our spaces to blend botanical elegance with Scandinavian style, ensuring relaxation from the moment you arrive.

We know that every couple wishes for a show-stopping wedding day: a ceremony that will have the tissues running out, a banquet that guests will still be talking about on their tenth anniversary and an experience that is totally stress-free.

We can promise a picture-perfect backdrop for the photographs that look like a Vogue fashion shoot. We have cinema-worthy locations, too, starting with the incredible, sweeping approach to the Manor House. It never fails to impress, and it’s just the opening titles. You and your guests are the ‘red carpet’ celebrities in your romantic movie.

Horwood House

The location itself is a gift. Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Horwood House has 38 acres of private grounds with dozens of ‘secret’ places just waiting to star in your photos, like the idyllic outdoor ceremony space amongst the blossom where couples make an entrance towards the rose arbour, through a quirky garden gate and past the lily pond.  For vow renewals or blessings, there is always the quirky old oak tree or the fairytale Well hidden amongst the woodland.

Inside is just as breathtaking. We’ve made a great effort to create the Drawing Room, a grand setting for exchanging vows. High ceilings, a stone fireplace, delicate botanical printed walls, huge windows and direct access to the gardens and lily pond, plus the Manor Bar.

Horwood House

Nothing beats the dramatic twisting staircase in the Manor Lounge for making an entrance. We’re on hand to catch any guests that swoon.

We’ve also invested in our staff. They share your dreams and are dedicated to helping you plan and fulfil your perfect wedding day. Our team will be your personal aides, and our ‘little black book’ of florists, caterers, bridal boutiques, confectioners, and other wedding suppliers are at your disposal.

Horwood House doesn’t just make memories; we make friends, too, and we hope you’ll return to celebrate with us again. A wedding at Horwood makes you a very special member of our family.
