RebeccaFounder and ownerTDR Bridal, formerly The Dressing Rooms Halesowen, was founded in 2007 by Rebecca, who came to bridal retail from wedding floristry and holds an HND in Business and Finance. Her husband Lawson joined the business in 2018. Rebecca selects the collection personally, is a judge for The Wedding Industry Awards and mentors other bridal retailers.
The boutique is on Manor Lane in Halesowen, a short drive from Birmingham city centre via the M5, with free parking at the front. Inside are more than 600 wedding dresses from designers including Allure, Enzoani, Justin Alexander, Ellis Bridals, Morilee, Veni Infantino, Wona Concept, Eva Lendel, Katy Corso and Lillian West. Dresses can be ordered from UK 2 to UK 34, and the shop holds samples in every size in between, including more than 100 samples in sizes 18 to 36.
Each bride is welcomed into one of eight private suites, named Forever, Devotion, Always, Evermore, Promise, Cherish, Beloved and Adore. Stylists are chosen for empathy rather than sales technique, and appointments run for a little under two hours with no limit on the number of dresses tried. A client portal lets brides browse and favourite current in-store styles with prices before they visit.
Alterations are handled in house by a team of eight bridal seamstresses, who can add sleeves, corset backs, modesty panels, pockets and bustles. A separate prep team steams, presses and packs each gown for collection, and the boutique stores dresses until the wedding. The business has won Best Bridal Shop UK at the Bridal Buyer Awards, Retailer of the Year at the Midlands Business Awards, Best Bridal Shop at the Hitched Wedding Awards, Best Bridal Shop England at the International Wedding Awards and Best Bridal Retailer England at the TWIA Awards.

Delivery takes between two weeks and nine months depending on the designer. The boutique calls the bride when the gown arrives and offers a Celebration Suite appointment for the first try-on.
The first fitting is usually about six weeks before the wedding, with a second a couple of weeks before. The in-house seamstresses carry out alterations and any customisations.
The prep team steams, presses and packs the gown for collection, ready to be taken home or packed for travel abroad.
