Amie Bone Flowers

Amie Bone Flowers was founded in 2006 by the husband and wife team Jason and Amie Bone. It began as an addition to a garden centre the couple owned on Hempstead Road in Watford, starting with a modest display of cut flowers.

Within the first year of trading the florist had become a recommended supplier to a number of hotels and venues in Hertfordshire. As the workload grew, more designers joined, and after four years the business needed larger premises.

In 2010 it moved into its present 1,500 square foot shop on Courtlands Drive in Watford, separate from the garden centre. In 2013 a purpose-built warehouse and workshop was completed to hold the collection of items the business hires out for weddings and events, and for its hire-only service.

Amie has worked with flowers since 1999 and develops each design from drawings that become the finished arrangements on the day. Today the business is led by Amie and Jason Bone with a team of 12 designers, working to provide good quality at a fair price.
