Sarah Linow founded her wedding planning agency in Berlin in 2009 and still leads it as founder and managing director. She plans weddings in Berlin and Brandenburg, across Europe including Mallorca, Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland, and in Florida, mostly for international couples and families flying in from abroad. She takes on a limited number of weddings each year so that each one gets full attention.
Each couple works with one dedicated planner as their main contact. Sarah's own background is in international luxury hospitality, gastronomy and management, alongside studies in European Business Administration and training in wedding styling and event design with the UK Academy of Wedding and Event Planning. She stays involved in a selected number of weddings personally, supported by senior planner Janine and a team of masters of ceremonies who join on the day.
The style is calm, structured and discreet, with a strong sense of design. Past weddings range from a glasshouse wedding with a mirrored aisle and hanging wisteria to ceremonies in historic Berlin halls, a Schlosshotel garden, a lakeside lawn near Potsdam, a Mallorca finca and a Florida beach. The agency also plans same-sex weddings and works with public figures who value discretion.
Fees are fixed rather than a percentage of the wedding budget, so the planning fee stays independent of what a couple spends on the day. Couples follow progress in a professional planning platform that holds the budget, timeline, guest list, seating plan, supplier contacts and mood boards. Couples can bring their own vendors, who are brought into the plan, or draw on the agency's network of trusted professionals.
On the wedding day two planners are always on site, with a team that provides cover if someone is unavailable. For weddings in Florida, Sarah's sister Arwen is the local contact and, with the agency's own Florida office, civil ceremonies can be conducted in German or English.
