Stella and Moscha Chanioti took over their mother Evangelia's business, Weddings in Santorini, and relaunched it under their own names. Their family has worked in Santorini's hotel trade since 1970, so the island is where they grew up rather than a market they moved into.
Stella is the principal planner and creative director. She studied business administration, took a masters in tourism management in London, worked in conferences and then retail, and came home to the island. She works with Lydia Meritzi and Dina Gavanozi, and the team has more than twenty-five years of experience with destination weddings.
Their style is Greek in light, stone and pace: refined and atmospheric, with the timing and transitions designed as carefully as the flowers. They do not use the usual tiers of full, partial and day-of planning, and they do not list packages. Each couple receives a proposal shaped by guest count, season and island, and the studio takes on a limited number of weddings.
The work covers venue sourcing and booking, design, vendor selection, guest logistics and running the day, plus elopements, guest concierge, corporate events and honeymoon planning. Services can extend to yacht, helicopter and private jet charter, stages and marquees, fireworks, guest accommodation and RSVP handling.
The studio is a founding member of the Greek Destination Planners Association. Their weddings have featured in Brides UK, Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, The Knot and Junebug.
