Benham Park is a Grade II* listed Georgian house near Newbury in Berkshire, built in 1775 to designs by Henry Holland and surrounded by 130 acres of parkland laid out by Capability Brown, with ornamental lakes and terraced gardens. It was once the home of Lady Elizabeth Craven.
The house is available on a full exclusive-use basis, so one wedding has it, and the grounds, for the weekend. Couples may marry in the Grand Ballroom for up to 140, beneath the Ionic portico, or in the gardens, and a marquee on the East Lawn takes up to 600. Inside there are a Library, a candlelit wine cellar, a Whisky Room, a private cinema and a rooftop dining area, and thirteen en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 26. Caterers are chosen from a preferred list, with wine from Berry Bros. & Rudd. Newbury is about fifteen minutes away and London around an hour, with parking for sixty cars.
