Exclusive-use Somerset estate around a fourteenth-century Tithe Barn, with lakes and 19 guest rooms
Haselbury Mill is a nine-acre estate of hamstone buildings in a Somerset valley, taken whole for weddings around a Grade I listed fourteenth-century Tithe Barn, with 19 en-suite guest rooms.
Haselbury Mill occupies nine acres of a quiet Somerset valley near Crewkerne, a group of honey-coloured hamstone buildings with gardens, lakes and a mill stream. Most of the buildings are from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but the Tithe Barn at the centre dates to the fourteenth century. It is Grade I listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and it was built to hold tithes for Glastonbury Abbey.
Weddings take the whole estate on an exclusive, all-inclusive basis. The Tithe Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and seats up to 120 for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast, with up to 200 for the evening. It has full heating and sound, and opens onto the Lakeside Bar, the Millers Lounge and a terrace. Ceremonies can also take place in the gardens or beside the lakes. Catering is in-house, from family-style feasting to plated dishes. Nineteen en-suite guest rooms and a Bridal Suite keep the party on site. Yeovil and its station are about 20 minutes away, and Bristol Airport about an hour and a quarter.

The nine acres hold honey-coloured hamstone buildings, gardens, lakes and a mill stream. Most of the buildings standing today are eighteenth and nineteenth century, and a bridge over the water makes a natural place for photographs.

The barn is Grade I listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument, built to hold tithes for Glastonbury Abbey. Its soaring ceilings, exposed beams and daylight hold the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening in one room.

Guests sleep in 19 refurbished en-suite rooms, and the Bridal Suite looks over the gardens. The morning after, they wake to birdsong and views across the Somerset countryside.
