Between the mountains and the sea
Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay stands on the Mediterranean coast of northern Morocco, between the mountains and the sea near Fnideq. The resort is built around private pool villas, with one and two-bedroom layouts that include sea view and beachfront positions. The architecture draws on the Andalusian and Moorish heritage of the region with Asian touches, and the grounds include gardens and a lake.

Five wedding settings
Vows by the Sea is the beach ceremony site, seating 300 theatre style. The Palm Garden covers 2,100 square metres and holds 500 guests at round tables or 1,000 for a cocktail. The Pool Garden lies between the sea and the lake, and the Reflecting Pond terrace looks over the sea, the lake and the gardens, and both seat 300 at round tables. The Titawin Ballroom provides an indoor option for 80 seated guests.

Table, spa and getting there
Catering is in-house, with five restaurants and bars that serve Thai, Moroccan, Mediterranean and Asian fusion cuisine. Banyan Tree Spa has treatment rooms, Moroccan hammams, herbal steam rooms and a hydrotherapy pool. The resort has 92 rooms. Tetouan Sania Ramel Airport is 20 minutes away by car, Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport about an hour and a quarter, and the cities of Tetouan and Chefchaouen are within reach for guests who wish to explore the region.
