Why the Strand and Covent Garden

Why marry in the Strand and Covent Garden?

The Strand runs from Trafalgar Square to Aldwych, parallel to the Thames, with Covent Garden and London's theatre district to its north. It is the busiest and most central of London's wedding areas, with restaurants, theatres and the river within a few minutes of each other.

The Savoy, the venue here, stands between the Strand and the Victoria Embankment. Its Lancaster Ballroom takes up to 700 for a reception and 280 for a dinner with dancing, and the hotel has 263 rooms and suites for guests.

Savoy Pier on the Thames is beside the hotel for arrivals by boat, and Charing Cross and Embankment stations are a short walk away.
