Between the mountain and the Atlantic
Tintswalo Atlantic stands at the base of Table Mountain National Park on Chapman’s Peak Drive in Hout Bay, with the mountainside rising behind it and the Atlantic Ocean breaking below. Eight island suites and two mountain suites are linked to the main lodge by a raised boardwalk, built from wood and glass among the fynbos.

Four places to marry
Weddings can be held at the Look Out Point, a short walk from the hotel, with open-air views of the Atlantic and the Sentinel; the pool deck and guest lounge built on the rocks beneath the mountain; the main lodge, where a retractable pergola frames chandeliers and drapes; and the dining room, whose fold-away doors open to the outdoors. The Look Out Point holds ceremonies of up to 120, the pool deck up to 80, and the dining room seats up to 120.

The table
The Chefs Warehouse restaurant creates the wedding menu, from seated courses to circulated cocktail-style service. Wine, MCC and champagne may be brought in on payment of corkage, at one bottle per two guests.

Ten island suites
Each suite is named after an island and decorated to reflect it, and all have private decks, wood-burning fireplaces and underfloor heating. The lodge sleeps 20.

Packages
Packages run from a two-night stay for up to six guests, from R42,500 for May to August 2026, to exclusive use of the lodge for 70 to 120 guests. The lodge’s general manager coordinates each wedding. The bar closes at 1am on exclusive packages, and staffing after midnight is charged hourly until 2am.
