Creeksea Place stands on a rise above the River Crouch, just west of Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex. The rainwater head on the front is dated 1569, the date usually given for the Grade II* listed house. Its wings were rebuilt between 1900 and 1907, the Royal Navy used it in the Second World War, and the Bertorelli family has owned it since 1947. About 35 acres of gardens, orchard, walled garden and lakes surround it.
Every package is an exclusive hire of the manor house and grounds. The house holds a civil licence, and three outdoor settings are licensed for ceremonies: the Walled Garden, the Marble Gazebo in the orchard and the Pavilion on the lake. The Regency Room, The Panelled Room and The Music Room are licensed indoors. Receptions are held in a silk-lined marquee seating up to 200, with catering by the venue's own chefs. There is no wedding accommodation on site, so guests stay in Burnham-on-Crouch and the villages nearby. The drive is about 50 minutes from the Dartford Tunnel.
