Private dining glasshouses for small weddings at One Marylebone and in the City, London
The Greenhouses is a collection of private glasshouses in London, five in the grounds of One Marylebone and two at Long Lane in the City, each hired to one party at a time for weddings of up to 40.
The Greenhouses is a collection of private dining glasshouses on two London sites. Five stand in the grounds of One Marylebone, on Marylebone Road, and two are in the City at Long Lane, beside the Barbican. Each has pitched glass, a timber frame and a single long table under hanging blossom and planting, and each is hired to one party at a time. Weddings are small by design, with receptions of 8 to 30 guests and the largest rooms seating 40.
The Regency Greenhouse at Marylebone is licensed for civil ceremonies, and guests then move next door to The Portland or The Devonshire, where the table is already laid. The City rooms host receptions only. The kitchen cooks modern Middle Eastern sharing plates in-house, and there is no room hire fee, only a minimum spend. There are no bedrooms, so guests stay at hotels nearby. London Heathrow is the nearest airport, about 45 minutes away.
