Andrei Weddings

Andrei Oprescu and Claudia make wedding films from a base in Notting Hill. Before turning to weddings, both worked professionally as documentary film editors, and the habit has stayed: they follow the day as it unfolds and look for the feeling beneath the events rather than directing a re-enactment.

They have more than twelve years behind the camera and a body of work in Jewish and Asian weddings, including Hindu, Sikh, Tamil and Gujarati ceremonies. They also film Armenian, Coptic, African and church weddings, and travel for celebrations in Kos, Thailand and Romania.

In London their films are shot at addresses such as Claridge's, The Dorchester, Syon Park, The Ned and Hedsor House. Their stated aim is a classic, timeless film that works as something to keep for years, rather than a record of a checklist.

Coverage starts with the preparations of the bride and groom and continues through the ceremony, speeches and dancing, recorded with professional sound and radio mics. A lead videographer is joined by second and third camera operators where the package allows, and aerial filming is available on the larger packages.

Each couple receives a cinematic trailer followed by a fully edited film, ready to stream and download, within 12 to 16 weeks depending on the package.
