Alex Znaharchuk and Znaharchuk Studio
Znaharchuk Studio is run by Alex and Kristina Znaharchuk, a husband-and-wife team based in France who film weddings around the world. They sum up their work in a few words: real cinema, we create stories.
Their method is to look for the whole narrative of a day in its smallest details, such as a single petal falling from a bouquet or a cufflink dropped in a hurry, and to film it naturally and without intrusion. The finished film is cinematic, simple and timeless, and meant to be watched again long after the wedding.
Much of the work is in France, from Paris to the châteaux of the Loire Valley, but the studio has filmed weddings in twenty-seven countries, including England, Italy, Spain, Greece and the Czech Republic. Châteaux, castles and Italian lakes all appear among their recent films.
Coverage can begin with the bridal preparations and continue through the ceremony, speeches and dancing, with flexible hours. A second shooter can join for full-day weddings, and vows and speeches are recorded in full audio.
The studio is an international, award-winning team with a five-star rating, and its work has been featured by French Wedding Style, WEVA and other industry publications. Only a limited number of weddings are taken each year, and the team works in English, French and Russian.
