Castore Events Sorrento

Castore sits in the green hills above Sorrento, on the Amalfi Coast of Campania. Its terraces look across the Bay of Naples to Capri, Ischia and Vesuvius, and the outlook is at its best around sunset. The location was created for special events, so a wedding party has the whole of it to itself, with no hire fee for wedding receptions.

The setting is divided into four areas that can be dressed to suit a wedding theme. One terrace is for the aperitif above the bay and another is for the meal, facing Capri and Ischia; that one can be fully closed and heated if the weather turns. A dance area with a bar follows, and a wooden bridge links it to the garden. There are no time restrictions, and disco lights and a sound system run throughout, so celebrations can continue late. The chef cooks Mediterranean dishes from tradition and local produce, and receptions can be seated or buffet for up to 150 guests.
