Verdura Resort
Coastal resort with private beach, olive amphitheatre and golf courses near Sciacca, Sicily
Verdura Resort is a coastal estate on the southern shore of Sicily, with a 240-guest ballroom, a private beach and a 230-acre park of almond and citrus trees.
Verdura Resort stands on the southern coast of Sicily, at the gates of Sciacca, in a 230-acre park of almond trees and aromatic citrus groves. The Mediterranean is visible from much of the estate, and the buildings are designed to sit quietly within the landscape. Ceremonies can be held on the private beach, in an amphitheatre among olive trees, on the sea-view terrace of the Liolà restaurant or on the golf courses.
For receptions, the stone-floored Ballroom looks over the Sicilian hills and takes up to 240 guests. The Liolà restaurant holds 90 and the Buon Giorno restaurant, which overlooks the infinity pool, holds 120. In warm weather the welcome cocktail and dinner move outdoors, beside the pool at sunset or under the olive trees. Chefs write a menu from Italian and Sicilian recipes, using local olive oil, citrus, fresh fish and vegetables from the resort garden, and a sommelier chooses the wines. The evening can continue in the foyer with a bar and live music. Afterwards the couple stay a night in a suite facing the sea and visit the 4,000 square metre spa.

Ceremonies on the beach, among olives or on the green
Couples can marry on the resort's private beach, in an amphitheatre of olive trees, on the sea-view terrace of the Liolà restaurant, or on the golf courses, where the green contrasts with the blue behind.
